What is AESS?
The Spanish Self Storage Association (AESS) was founded in 2004 to enhance, promote, and support the interests of all those who own, operate, or have invested in our sector, by increasing the visibility of Self Storage and driving new and better standards that benefit our customers.
AESS is a professional association under the provisions of Organic Law 1/2002 of March 22, and is part of the European Federation of Self Storage (FEDESSA).

Types of members
Provisional member
A member who is considering the possibility of starting to operate as a Self Storage facility but has not yet opened any center. This member will not have visibility on the website until they have opened their center with the appropriate licenses, but will have access to all other member rights.
Operator member
Operators with one or more centers open who have valid licenses for the centers they are operating and who are willing to comply with the code of ethics of the Spanish Self Storage Association.
Supplier members
If you don’t have a Self Storage center but offer a product or service for this sector, you can access relevant information for you HERE.
