SUMMARY:2023 Winter Workshop

Con Coste. \n  \n\n\nThe SSA UK\, with major sponsors\, Storage Future are proud to present the 2023 Winter Workshop.\n\n\n\nTwo days of speakers\, industry workshops\, skiing and networking in St. Anton\, in the Tyrolean-Alps region of Austria.\n\n\nRaffl’s St Antonorhof is regarded as one of the finest hotels in St Anton; with huge rooms with luxury bathrooms\, an indoor pool\, onsite massage services and an atmospheric bar.  Only a short walk from the ski lifts and access to 350 km of marked ski runs\, with superbly prepared slopes for all ability levels. The local area boasts 200 km of off-piste skiing with challenging steep slopes and deep-snow ski runs\, snowboard fun parks\, carving areas\, permanent racing circuits as well as numerous cosy meeting places.  And\, of course\, the region’s famous apres ski venues. \n\n\n\nThis exclusive event\, open to just 50 delegates\, is set to be an event to remember.  Numbers are strictly limited\, so book early to avoid disappointment \nArrive on Sunday the 5th of February\, ready for two full days\, each consisting of business sessions over breakfast before hitting the slopes and rounding the day off with more sessions and a networking dinner.  Leaving the hotel to fly home on Wednesday the 8th  of February. SUMMARY:Sector Forum External Storage - Traduciremos al español
DESCRIPTION:The eagle-eyed amongst our members may have noticed that the Container Sector Forum has been renamed as the Sector Forum External Storage. This change has been made following the 2022 update to the Membership Standard; recognising that there are far more external storage offerings than just containers\, the Association realised the importance of capturing all external storage in a consistent manner. \nChris Bryan will use this sector forum as a platform to discuss the recent changes to the Membership Standard\, as well as highlighting the implications for members and giving an opportunity for attendees to ask questions/seek clarity if needed. \nFollowing the Standards review\, we will also discuss some issues that several members have faced when filing planning applications. In an effort to achieve a consistent approach from local authorities\, Chris will discuss some of the recent challenges experienced with various external storage applications as well as how operators have successfully overturned the initial decision. \nIf you are an external storage or container operator or a supplier to these companies\, then these sector forum meetings will be of interest to you. \nComplimentary to attend\, meetings will be held 2-3 times per year and are open to all SSA UK and FEDESSA members.  Currently\, all meetings will be held online via Zoom. \nMore information on the topics to be discussed in this meeting will be released closer to the meeting date.
